Robert Gunter, 40, of was sentenced on Monday, Dec. 4 to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison with four years of parole ineligibility after pleading guilty to possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Gunter’s codefendant, Ibin Ingrum, now 20, was previously sentenced on charges of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of a gun, the prosecutor said.
The Court sentenced Ingrum to seven years in New Jersey State Prison subject to 42 months of parole ineligibility.
The convictions of Ingrum and Gunter arose from a warranted search in Galloway Township in July 2022. In an upstairs bedroom of the residence, the police found a safe which contained a mixture of over three ounces of fluorofentanyl, despropionyl fluorofentanyl, fluorophenethyl 4-ANPP, and xylazine, the prosecutor said. Additionally, inside the safe the police found 10 wax folds packaged for sale which contained a mixture of fluorofentanyl, fentanyl, phenethyl 4-ANPP, and xylazine; a baggie containing approximately one ounce of methamphetamine; two digital scales; and documents bearing the names of Ingrum and Gunter.
In the upstairs and attic area of the residence, police found two handguns, ammunition, and extended-capacity magazines, the prosecutor said.
